ETKU unites national Traditional Karate organizations from across Europe that share the technical standards, values and spirit established by Hidetaka Nishiyama.

Our member countries work together to promote Traditional Karate through national federations, seminars, championships, instructor education and youth development programs.

Each member organization is committed to:
• preserving the principles of Traditional Karate
• following the technical standards of ETKU
• supporting fair play, discipline and respect
• developing instructors, athletes and future generations

The ETKU community continues to grow throughout Europe.
